Terms of Use

The ground rules that keep CozyCalendar a safe, cozy corner for everyone

Welcome to CozyCalendar. These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and the CozyCalendar Team about your use of the CozyCalendar app on Android and iOS and its related websites (together, the “Service”).

By downloading, installing or using CozyCalendar, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

Accounts and Age

You can use CozyCalendar with a guest account or a signed-in account, as long as you are at least 13.

  • Minimum age. You must be 13 or older to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, please use CozyCalendar with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Guest Mode. You can use the app without creating an identified account. Some features, such as syncing across devices, friends and shared calendars, require signing in with Email, Apple or Google.
  • Keeping your account safe. You are responsible for securing your device and sign-in method, and for telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Your Content

The events, notes and diary entries you create always belong to you.

You keep all rights to the content you create in CozyCalendar, including events, tasks, notebooks, diary entries, drawings and voice notes.

To run the Service, you allow us to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to sync it across your devices and share it with the people you choose. We never use your content for advertising.

Acceptable Use

Keep CozyCalendar friendly and safe for everyone.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Post or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing or infringes the rights of others.
  • Send spam, scam or harassing friend requests, shared-calendar invites or events.
  • Access other people’s accounts, data or systems, or CozyCalendar’s, without permission.
  • Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or exploit the Service and its API beyond normal use of the app.

Third-Party Connections

Schedules you pull in from school or other apps still belong to their providers.

CozyCalendar lets you connect calendar sources such as Canvas, Moodle, LHU ME, ICS calendar links and the calendars on your device. When you use these connections:

  • Access. Connect only sources you are allowed to use, and follow the terms of each provider.
  • Accuracy. Data from outside sources is shown as the provider sends it. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of those services.
  • Disconnecting. You can disconnect a calendar source in the app at any time.

Reminders and Reliability

We do our best to remind you on time, but your phone has the final say.

CozyCalendar uses local reminders and push notifications to alert you before events. Reminders may be delayed or not shown if notifications are turned off, the device is in battery-saving mode, or the operating system limits background activity.

Changes and Interruptions

CozyCalendar keeps improving, so things will sometimes change.

We may add, change or retire features, and the Service may be briefly unavailable for maintenance. When a major change affects your data, we will tell you in advance in the app or by email.

Termination and Account Deletion

You can leave at any time, and you always get time to change your mind.

  • Deleting your account. You can request account deletion in the app’s Settings or on the Delete account page. Signed-in accounts have a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion; guest accounts are deleted immediately.
  • Suspension for violations. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate these terms, and will notify you when we can.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

What we are responsible for when something goes wrong.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, the CozyCalendar Team is not liable for indirect damages arising from missed events, delayed reminders, data lost on your device, or outages of third-party services.

Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited under the laws of Vietnam.

Governing Law and Changes to These Terms

How these terms apply and how they are updated.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if that fails, it will be brought before the competent authority in Vietnam.

We may update these Terms of Use. Each new version shows its effective date at the top of the page, and previous versions stay available for you to read.
